Why I started James & Co.
I always knew I'd run my own business. Growing up, I watched my Dad build his and saw the pressure that sits behind every decision. I was selling through my Mum's eBay account long before it was a career. Over time I kept seeing the same pattern: owners trying to grow while carrying marketing, sales and operations on their own. That's why I built James & Co.

Founder's background
Shaped where there's very little room for error
Across Public Health Isle of Man, Manx Care and clinical research, I worked on complex programmes, compliance projects and system-level improvements where everything had to be delivered properly.
As a Programme Manager within Public Health, I developed the Isle of Man Public Health Strategy 2025 to 2030. At Manx Care I led quality improvement and regulatory compliance work, including CQC-related projects, and was awarded the Chief Nurse Medal of Honour.
Earlier in my career I worked across manufacturing and retail, improving operations and finding new revenue streams. Before moving into business, I also competed in hockey at a high level.
